Hi friendlies,

Quick recap: I went to London in March, had a fabulous life-changing time, came back in early June, went camping with some of my amazing friends () and then I got my tonsils out. That is a very tough thing when you reach my age, but that is ok. I am all healed now. It was rough, as my body thinks I need about twice the amount of painkillers than what they gave me. Stupid body. Maybe it's because I almost became a bio-hazard by contracting the swine as well as about 8 other diseases, but painkillers are not that strong for me. It was hard, as I had a long time where I could eat barely anything solid and am finally starting to enjoy normal food again. My scabs are almost gone and I am so happy my tonsils are gone as well. They were gross, and the doctor said it was well past time for them to be gone. I am pleased that I will very possibly finally stop being such a sick kid. Hopefully I will get to enjoy this school year with little if not no illnesses to plague my life. Somewhere over winter break, I got my third tattoo, a Cheshire cat, and am pleased with that. In February, which I never addressed in previous journal entries, I lost two of my my oldest animals. It was hard and devastating as only the loss of long-cherished animals can be, but I am almost able to discuss them without tears now. Almost. I am working up to replacing the picture of the dog back on my wall. Getting there slowly, but I feel by the end of the summer I will put it back. I went to visit family (oh, joy) in mid-July and had a very funny experience when a 15 year old girl developed an immediate crush on my boyfriend. It was hilarious and simply comical. He was a little put off, because she was behaving as only 15 year old's can when they have a crush. I didn't bother rescuing him, it was too much fun to watch

Enough of that. That is the update with all I can think of in my life. Next week I will be leaving for Mackinac Island with some of my friends to visit another friend at his home. It will be a road trip and a new experience and a little more of the world I will have seen I do believe I am doing pretty well for myself at this point.

Hi Friendlies!

Yes, I know, it has been a massively long time since I wrote a journal on here. But really, I have been very busy. For example, today I am running away to Camden and Portobello Road. In London. Did I mention I am in London? I am studying abroad and I am so loving it here. For the most part, sadly, it is a million times better than the states. At the same time, I am happy it is a million times better than the states. It is a lovely contradiction.

I have been going to classes, seeing the sights, realizing my sense of direction is really not that bad, learning the city, writing a blog, and taking a million pictures, some of which I will hopefully clean up and put on here. I meant to be keeping a normal journal as well, but after blogging it just gets tedious. I use it as a list of all the things I want to get done in London, before I branch out to the rest of the surrounding countries.

That is pretty much all I have for now, when I have free time again, I will put up some of my nicer London pics in my gallery.

Also, I really like the llamas. If anyone at all wants to send me llamas, I'm down with that
